AI FOD Detection

FOD-S (Foreign Object Debris - Static)

FOD-S is particularly useful for busy airports, where high frequency of takeoffs and landings prevent vehicle operation from the runway surface. FOD-S comprises of a set of visual sensors, displaced laterally at suitable distances from runway edges and mounted at commensurate heights, while adhering to the OCC (Obstacle Clearance Criteria).

The sensor units are strategically installed beyond the Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS) to ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations while maintaining operational coverage of designated runway zones and adjacent areas.
